Affordable Roofing got its start in 1989 as Fine Homes of SC building residential homes. Philip Flaugher, Jr., an Air Force veteran and native of Pickens, SC, decided to venture out on his own and start a company. Thirty years later, our core team is comprised of Phillip, Nathan Flaugher, Kathy Flaugher, Brandon White, and Anthony Eaton, plus two crews with decades of experience. We are still serving Upstate SC in Pickens, Greenville, Oconee, and Anderson Counties. 

How We Went From Building to Roofing: When the nasty hurricanes of the early 2000s hit, combined with the declining housing market, we made a shift from a residential building company to a full-service roofing company. After mastering the trade of roofing in the most competitive and strictest code market in Florida, we brought our roofing division back to South Carolina full-time. Since 2005, we have focused mainly on roofing and exterior restoration.
